However, the scenarios which form the main body of the interview are based on the five domains of general practice (RACGP).
Familiarity with these will provide a good basis for success in the PESCI. It is suggested that if you wish to do some preparation for the PESCI, you commence as soon as possible.
Five Domains of General Practice:
Communication Skills and the Doctor-Patient Relationship
Applied Professional Knowledge and Skills
Population Health and the context of General Practice
Professional and Ethical Role
Organisational and Legal Dimensions
Professional Development Opportunities:
RWAV frequently offers a variety of workshop and training opportunities for health professionals. Some may assist you in preparation for the PESCI and for work in general practice.
Can I change my documentation e.g. Curriculum Vitae (CV), Position Description, and/or Supervised Practice Plan?
All documentation should be lodged with your initial application. However, we understand that circumstances do change and you may need to provide an updated CV, or change in location which requires an amended Application Form, Position Description and Supervised Practice Plan Agreement.
Provided we receive the amended document/s at least seven (7) clear working days prior to the date of the confirmed PESCI appointment we will be able to substitute the documents.
